Moody collects nothing. All AI analysis runs locally on your iPhone using Apple Intelligence. Your journal entries are never sent to any server, cloud service, or third party. There are no accounts, no tracking, no ads, and no data sales.
Moody is a journaling and mood-tracking application developed for iOS. This Privacy Policy describes how the App handles your information.
The short version: we collect nothing, because the App never contacts our servers with your data.
The App does not collect, transmit, store, or share:
All AI-powered features in Moody, including achievement detection and mood analysis, are processed entirely on your device using Apple's on-device Apple Intelligence framework.
Your journal content is never sent to any external server, API, or third-party service for processing.
Your data, journal entries, mood logs, and awards are stored locally on your device using iOS standard data storage. The App does not have a backend server or database.
If you delete the App, all locally stored data is permanently deleted.
If you have iCloud Backup enabled on your device, iOS may include Moody's local data in your personal iCloud backup. This is governed by Apple's iCloud Terms of Service and your own iOS settings.
Moody does not independently upload data to iCloud or any other cloud service.
The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs. There are no third parties with access to your data through use of this App.
The App does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Because the App collects no personal data at all, there is no special risk to younger users, but the App is intended for general audiences.
If this Privacy Policy is updated, the new version will be made available on this page with an updated date. We will not reduce your privacy protections without clear notice.
